Brief Profile

Dr Chetan Pandit is a consultant Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physician.  Dr Pandit completed his fellowship in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.  He holds a consultant position in Respiratory Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Dr Pandit’s interests include managing children with difficult asthma, airway disorders and their effects on children’s sleep.  He has a special interest in the management of cystic fibrosis in children, and has presented at various national and international conferences.  Dr Pandit also has a keen interest in research and has published in local and international journals.  He has also been appointed Associate Lecturer in Paediatrics at University of Sydney, and is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and trainee paediatricians.

Dr Pandit’s hobbies include playing tennis.  He is the proud father of a daughter and is fluent in English and Tamil.
