Brief Profile
Margot has spent the last 2 decades working in a variety of roles in Paediatric Allergy. This includes the position a Clinical Nurse Consultant at The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network in the Allergy and Immunology Department at Westmead. She is involved in oral food challenges and provides education and support for children and their families living with food allergies.
She spent 14 years working for the NSW Anaphylaxis Education program, serving as co-manager for 8 of those years. The role involved providing anaphylaxis education to staff working in schools and other children’s services. She also assisted with the development and implementation of anaphylaxis procedures for NSW schools.
She is an associate member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), and has completed post graduate studies in Allergy.
Margot assists with food challenges at the clinic, and also provides support and education for children and their families with allergies.
Margot is the proud mother of 2 boys who both have had food allergies.
